Hands: God of Shiva is a painting on canvas inspired by LASALLE's BA(Hons) Fine Arts student, Kana Higashino, through a conversation between her and a traditional Indian dancer who has been dancing since she was 7 years of age. She tells of the strong familial bond and chemistry that is developed between her and her dance instructor, and the struggles that she faced over the years as a dancer.

This community painting programme invites YOU to be a part of the dancer's story by painting onto a canvas that has been sketched out by Kana, reflecting her interpretation and inspiration of the traditional Indian dance and culture.

This is a free programme as part of ARTWALK LITTLE INDIA 2016.

*Recommended for audiences ages 5 years and above.
Babies and toddlers below 5 years old will not be permitted admission.
